Some news is worth slowing down for. Cookies Cream has retained its Michelin Star.

That always means something. This year, it’s extra special. With Patrick Ziegert now leading the kitchen as Head Chef and Viktor Gerhardinger joining as Head of Culinary Development, this feels like a strong way to begin a new chapter. A recognition not just of what’s on the plate, but of the focus, craft and care this team brings to the restaurant every night.
Since 2007, Cookies Cream has done fine dining its own way: vegetable-led, a little unexpected, unmistakably Berlin. Hidden away behind the courtyard on Behrenstraße, it has never been about following the expected route. It has always been about character, atmosphere and a kitchen with its own point of view.
To have that recognised again by Michelin means a great deal.

And that is not all.
We are also proud to continue holding 3 stars — the highest rating — from the Sustainable Restaurant Association’s Food Made Good certification. For us, that recognition matters because it reflects something bigger than an award. It speaks to the way we want to work: cooking well, sourcing thoughtfully, and always trying to do things better.
That means a vegetable-led menu. Seasonal ingredients. Close relationships with producers. A bar programme that thinks carefully about what goes into the glass. A team that takes sustainability seriously, not as a slogan, but as part of the everyday work.

Because at Cookies Cream, the idea has never been just to make beautiful plates. It is to create an experience that feels considered from beginning to end — in the kitchen, on the floor, at the bar and behind the scenes.
That is what these recognitions belong to.
To the kitchen.
To the bar.
To the floor.
To the producers and suppliers who work with us.
And to everyone who keeps showing up hungry, curious and open to what we do.
