Last Thursday, CHARITY at [COOKIES CREAM] returned for another very special evening in support of the Mbigili Children’s Village in Tanzania — a project that Cookie Heinz Gindullis has supported for the past 17 years.
Hosted by Cookie Heinz Gindullis and Nicole Savas, and led by Anita Tillmann, the evening brought together friends, artists and supporters around one table with one shared goal: raising funds for Mbigili.
ART FOR A GOOD CAUSE
A central part of the evening was the charity auction, featuring works generously donated by artists connected to KÖNIG GALERIE.
Throughout the night, guests bid on the artworks, helping raise an incredible:

The funds will go directly towards the continued care, education and long-term support of the 82 children currently living at Mbigili Children’s Village.
The project provides the children with a safe home, education, psychological care and long-term support as they grow towards independent adult lives.
17 YEARS AND COUNTING
For Cookie, this is much more than an annual dinner.
For 17 years, he and the community around CHARITY at [ ] have supported Mbigili, building a relationship that has grown year after year.
The annual gala brings that community together in Berlin — artists donating work, guests bidding and giving generously, and many people contributing their time and energy behind the scenes.
This year’s €170,000 is an extraordinary result and will make a real difference to the children and the wider Mbigili community.It’s Not Just Dinner. It’s a Lifeline.
What makes this evening so impactful is that 100% of the proceeds go to the children – every euro, every moment, every gesture. The dinner is fully self-funded by the organisers, with Cookies Cream, suppliers, partners, and friends coming together to make it happen.
