COOKIES CREAM

A vegetarian restaurant, free from all veggie clichés. There are no dogmas here, rather a relaxed casualness. This starts with the interior: washed, white concrete pillars, benches with a raspberry fabric, warm light and the highlight: an open kitchen, which gives the guests a view over the shoulder of the cooks.
Chef Stephan Henschel is known throughout Germany for his outstanding vegetarian creations and just recently received 16 points from Gault&Millau for the creative dishes. “No hocus-pocus, we already have enough of that anyway. My creations are absolutely unorthodox, honest and worthy of the peculiar taste of the vegetables and wild herbs.“
The fact that vegetarian cuisine has made the leap to the gourmet gastronomy is felt in every single square meter of COOKIES CREAM.

Das Cookies Cream, 2007 gegründet von ‚Cookie‘ Heinz Gindullis, war der Pionier für vegetarisches Fine Dining in Berlin und ist mittlerweile zum international renommierten Hotspot der Hauptstadt avanciert. Mit Chefkoch Stephan Hentschel steht das Cookies Cream für experimentelle vegetarische Küche auf höchstem Niveau (16 Punkte bei Gault&Millau für 2017) – die außergewöhnlichen und dennoch ehrlichen Kreationen vermitteln dem Gast ein völlig neuartiges Erlebnis von vegetarischer Küche. Im November 2017 wird das Cookies Cream 10! Gefeiert wird unter anderem mit einer Tour durch befreundete Küchen Europas. So wird ein kulinarischer Dialog eröffnet und ein sinnliches Highlight geschaffen, das Menschen aus den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen für einen Abend vereint.

Cookies Cream is turning 10 and we will be celebrating with a tour through befriended kitchens in Europe, followed by an anniversary event at Cookies Cream in Berlin in November.

COOKIES CREAM ANNIVERSARY TOUR
IBIZA – ZÜRICH – LONDON

On the first stop of the Cookies Cream Tour, we were guests at La Granja – Ibiza on the 26th of July. Aubergines, leeks and herbs straight from the garden to Stephan Hentschel in the kitchen and from there onto the plate. The best way to eat and celebrate.
La Granja Ibiza is the first farm-to-table project by Design Hotels. Together with the La Granja chef José Catrimán, Cookies Cream head chef Stephan Hentschel and his team created a special menu for the event.
